The collective bargaining bonus, which is an important gain for public servants, was canceled with the application of the CHP to the Constitutional Court. With the article accepted in the Parliament, this right was included in the legal regulation.

THEY WILL RECEIVE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT EVERY MONTH

As a result, unionized civil servants are entitled to receive 641.81 Turkish lira as a collective bargaining bonus. This payment will be made to all unionized civil servants every month. The regulation also contributes to trade union organization. Payments to more than 2 million civil servants are expected to be made on August 15th, along with their salaries.

"2% THRESHOLD HAS BEEN REMOVED"

In his evaluations to TRT News regarding the issue, Social Security Expert İsa Karakaş stated, "It was a regulation given to union members who exceeded the 2% threshold in their service sector. With the provision put in place, the 2% threshold has been removed. All civil servants who have union deductions from their salaries will benefit from this."

HOW MUCH WILL SALARIES BE IN THE NEW YEAR?

Meanwhile, the Central Bank announced its end-of-year inflation estimates in the 3rd inflation report of the year. With these estimates, the salary increases for retirees and civil servants can be calculated. According to the estimated inflation rate of 38%, the increase for civil servants and retired civil servants, including the inflation difference, will be 6.62%. If the upper band of 42% is realized, the rate of increase for civil servants and retired civil servants will reach 9.70%.
