The managers of Ulus Çınarspor Club, competing in the Bartın Amateur League, reacted to the referees and the referee appointments, claiming that they made incorrect decisions in a match where 11 players received red cards and 1 player was injured. Cumhur Işık, one of the managers of Ulus Çınarspor Club, who argues that there is a structure in the league, said, "Even if we bring Messi from Argentina and Ronaldo from Portugal, there is no chance of success against this structure."
Bartın 1st Amateur League match between Arıt Kayadibispor and Ulus Çınarspor saw a brawl break out among players during the extra minutes, with kicks and punches flying, escalating to the technical staff and the stands. The referee, having shown red cards to 11 players and with one footballer injured, suspended the match due to insufficient players to continue.
OFFICIALS CRITICIZED THE REFEREES Hours before the match decision was announced, Ulus Mayor and Ulus Çınarspor Club President Hasan Hüseyin Uzun, along with club officials Basri Maden and Cumhur Işık, held a press conference to criticize the referees. Club official Basri Maden, speaking at the meeting, showed and commented on the incidents that led to the brawl and the positions where he claimed the referee made incorrect decisions using the video monitoring and playback system set up in the hall. Maden expressed that both the officials and the players and technical staff were very upset due to the incidents, repeatedly showing the positions to the press members.
INSULTS SPARKED THE INCIDENTS Responding to questions from the press, Basri Maden addressed the question about the start of the incidents, saying, "The friend who started the fight was our friend. FIGHT BETWEEN TWO PLAYERS ON THE SAME TEAM Maden clarified the reason for the fight between the two players on the team, stating, "As the tension in the match escalated, our friend there expressed his discontent about the other teammate not getting involved in the incident. When the other friend wanted to get involved, he reacted incorrectly. All of it is wrong, of course, we do not approve. We find it wrong," he said.
CLAIM OF RULE ERROR Official Maden also commented on the decision expected to be announced on Tuesday, February 24, regarding the suspended match and incidents, saying, "We believe and think that a fair decision will emerge. Although it is not clear, we do not have any of our players shown a red card. We think there is a rule error there. He enters the locker room without showing the card and we get a response from there. It is not a clear and definite answer. Because since it was not communicated directly, we cannot comment much.
