After the Elazığ earthquake, Naci Görür made a statement: It reminded us of the earthquakes on February 6.

AFAD announced that an earthquake of magnitude 5 occurred in the center of Elazığ. The earthquake took place at 17:04, with a depth measured at 16.22 kilometers. The Kandilli Observatory measured the earthquake's magnitude at 5.1 and its depth at 5.0 kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in Diyarbakır, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Erzincan, Bingöl, Tunceli, and Batman.

NACI GÖRÜR REMINDED OF THE FEBRUARY 6 EARTHQUAKES

Following the frightening earthquake in Elazığ, the first assessment came from geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür. In his evaluation shared on social media regarding the earthquake, Görür stated, "A 5.1 earthquake occurred in Elazığ/Şehsuvar. The earthquake is on the DAF, near the Keban Dam. The earthquake energy that would create a major disaster in the region has largely been exhausted by earthquakes from Malatya to Karlıova-Göynük. Today's earthquake is related to the energy transfer of the February 6 earthquakes. I do not expect a disaster."
