Ahmet Davutoğlu's support for the government regarding Syria: We call a spade a spade.

Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, at the celebration program for the 5th anniversary of his party, stated, "While we were criticizing the government for continuing trade with Israel during the Gaza genocide, we were saying wrong is wrong. Now we are saying right is right. The policy followed by our esteemed President, as well as our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense, and the head of MIT in Syria is correct."

Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu attended the 5th anniversary ceremony of his party at the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) City Theaters Building. Speaking here, Davutoğlu supported the government's policies in Syria.

"WE SUPPORT"

Stating that they support Turkey's policies in Syria, Davutoğlu said, "We are the pioneers of the politics that say right is right and wrong is wrong. While we were criticizing the government for continuing trade with Israel during the Gaza genocide, we were saying wrong is wrong. Now we are saying right is right. The policy followed by our esteemed President, as well as our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense, and the head of MIT in Syria is correct. And this policy should lead to the establishment of a Syria friendly to Turkey in the south of Turkey, woven intricately."

"I SENT A LETTER TO EL-BEŞİR"

Davutoğlu also stated, "In this context, I conveyed a nine-point action plan for a transition process to the new Prime Minister of the government, Mr. Mohammed El-Bashir, for Syria to achieve stability and peace. I shared my ideas with him regarding the roadmap for the transition process in Syria with nine points. One: ensure public order and security, two: carry out a comprehensive national reconciliation process, three: implement a civil political transition process, four: establish transitional justice, five: ensure the effective operation and restructuring of state institutions, six: initiate the new constitution drafting process, seven: carry out the economic rehabilitation process, eight: facilitate the return of the oppressed Syrians who have been displaced from their homes, nine: create a new foreign policy that is open to the region and the world.

I conveyed this detailed action plan to our esteemed President and Mr. Bahçeli, including the contributions that Turkey can make in this area. I also thank them for their responses and messages to the letters I previously sent regarding my observations in Iraq," he said.
