Following Davutoğlu's remarks, Ankara Deputy Mustafa Nedim Yamalı resigned from the Future Party, and the Future-Saadet Party group fell due to the decrease in the number of deputies to 19. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan pinned the party badge on Deputy Nedim Yamalı, who resigned from the Future Party and became a member of the AK Party, after his party's group meeting.
