Ahmet Türk gave two names: They are likely to go for a meeting with Öcalan.

14.12.2024 12:51

Ahmet Türk, the leader of the terrorist organization Abdullah Öcalan, stated that he believes a meeting will take place. He also pointed to Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Sırrı Süreyya Önder and DEM Party Van MP Pervin Buldan as the names who will go to İmralı.

The co-mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality, Ahmet Türk, who was removed from his position and replaced by a trustee, evaluated the current developments and Turkey's policy towards Syria.

"BY ATTACKING THE KURDS IN SYRIA..."

Answering questions from Mizgin Aksu of İlke Tv, Ahmet Türk stated, "You cannot achieve peace at home by attacking the Kurds in Syria. If Turkey continues to maintain enmity against the Kurds, it becomes impossible to talk about peace. In an occupied Syria, what kind of peace will the Kurds establish?"

HE NAMED TWO NAMES

Evaluating the application made by DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan to the Ministry of Justice to meet with Öcalan, Türk said, "I think there will be a meeting. The likelihood of Mr. Buldan and Mr. Sırrı Süreyya Önder attending the first meeting is higher."

MINISTER TUNÇ: A SUITABLE DAY WILL BE DETERMINED

In the latest statement from Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç regarding the DEM Party's application for Öcalan, he said, "The process is ongoing. We will have a study regarding the determination of a suitable day here."
