Ahmet Türk gifted an amber prayer bead to MHP leader Bahçeli during the meeting.

The DEM Party delegation, which met with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı, continues its visits. Today, at 1:00 PM, the delegation met with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, and later visited the MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at his office.

The 40-minute meeting was a scene of firsts, so to speak. MHP leader Bahçeli welcomed the members of the DEM Party delegation, who are not party chairpersons; Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Van Deputy Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk, who was removed from the position of Mayor of Mardin and replaced by a trustee.

At the end of the meeting, Bahçeli again escorted the members of the delegation he welcomed at the door to the door. No statement was made after the meeting.

A GIFT FROM AHMET TÜRK TO BAHÇELİ

It was learned that Ahmet Türk, whom Bahçeli described as "a person with the title of chieftain," gifted an amber prayer bead to the MHP leader during the meeting.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, in a statement made at his party's TBMM Group Meeting on October 22, said, "If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the TBMM DEM Party Group Meeting, proclaiming that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been dissolved. If he shows this determination and resolve, let the legal regulation regarding the use of the 'right to hope' be made, and let the way for him to benefit from it be opened wide."

Shortly after this statement, Bahçeli called for permission to be granted to the DEM Party delegation to go to Imralı. The delegation, which included Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder, went to Imralı Island on December 28 to meet with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.
