AK Party Deputy Group Chairman Özlem Zengin, İstanbul Valiliği ile bir toplantı yaptığını ve "Cumartesi Anneleri"nin 1000. hafta protestosuna bu hafta izin verileceğini duyurdu. Zengin ayrıca Meclis'teki konuşmasında "Cumartesi Annelerinin acısı bizim için önemlidir, ancak bu acıya dayanarak sömürülmesine veya başka bir yöne sapmasına izin vermemeliyiz" dedi.

AK Party Deputy Group Chairman Özlem Zengin, Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi (TBMM) Genel Kurulu'nda "Cumartesi Anneleri"nin 1000. hafta protestosuna izin verileceğini duyurdu. AK Parti Grup Başkanvekili Özlem Zengin, TBMM Genel Kurulu'nda önemli açıklamalarda bulundu. Geçtiğimiz hafta Zengin, "Cumartesi Anneleri"ni temsil eden bazı kişilerin kendisini ziyaret ettiğini ve daha sonra İçişleri Bakanı ve İstanbul Valisi ile görüşmeler yaptığını belirtti. Zengin, "Bu ayın 29'unda 1000. toplantılarını yapacaklarını doğruladım. Valimizle iletişime geçtim, bu toplantıyı gerçekleştirecekler. Her hafta devam ediyorlar. Burada ince bir çizgi var, Cumartesi Annelerinin acısı bizim için önemli, ancak bunun başka bir yöne kaydırılmasına veya sömürülmesine izin vermemeliyiz" dedi. Cumartesi Anneleri, 27 Mayıs 1995'ten bu yana Galatasaray Meydanı'nda her Cumartesi oturma eylemleri düzenleyen bir grup olup, kayıp akrabalarının adaletini ve çözülememiş siyasi cinayetlerin kurbanlarını aramaktadır.
