AK Party Balıkesir Deputy Ali Taylan Öztaylan said that the CHP Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has laid off 700 workers since April 1. Öztaylan, addressing Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Akın, demanded that the dismissed workers be reinstated.

The AK Party Balıkesir Provincial Presidency met with the written, visual, and digital media members in the city for breakfast. "REINSTATE THE DISMISSED WORKERS"

During the meeting, AK Party Balıkesir Deputy Ali Taylan Öztaylan strongly criticized Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Akın. Öztaylan announced that the Metropolitan Municipality has laid off 700 workers since April 1 and demanded that these workers be rehired. Öztaylan played a video of Ahmet Akın saying, "No one will be laid off, do not listen to rumors. I will not lay off anyone. We will govern with justice and deliver what is due."

Imported bureaucrats came from all sides and filled the municipality. Currently, a total of 700 people, including companies, have been laid off from Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality. They are being laid off in a very bad way without even thanking them via messages or E-Government. You didn't make any discounts, you increased prices, you brought in imported bureaucrats, you couldn't provide water, everything is fine, but this issue of bread, the issue of livelihood, is an unacceptable situation.

There are newlyweds, those who are going to get married, those who have children, those who are sick. There are those who take money out of their pockets and send it to their mothers and sisters. Many of them were subjected to mobbing by changing districts. I ask here: where are the promises you made? Look, turn back from this mistake. Our unions will provide legal support. We, as the organization, the municipal council, and the deputies, will stand by the citizens who have been laid off. We demand that this mistake be immediately reversed and that the jobs of the 700 people laid off, along with the companies, be reinstated. In the end, Ahmet Akın, who set out to be close to everyone, unfortunately turned out to be distant from the people of Balıkesir and close to imported bureaucrats. Ahmet Abi, I'm saying this very deeply. Turn back from this mistake you made, do not play with the people's bread. Fulfill the promises you made to the people, bring back the discounts. Do not stand with Israel. Because this Turkish nation will know how to bury you in the ballot box at the first opportunity."
