AK Party Secretary-General Eyyüp Kadir İnan reacted strongly to criticisms about the song prepared for the Turkish National Football Team. İnan, describing those disturbed by the emphasis on the domestic defense industry in the music video as a "sick mentality," said, "No matter how much you burst or explode, all of you are, we are Türkiye."

AK Party Secretary General and Izmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan responded very harshly to criticisms on social media regarding the song and music video prepared for the Turkish National Football Team. Describing the criticisms as "chronic allergy" and "sick mentality," İnan made striking accusations against the opposition.

"YOU ARE LYNCHING IT JUST BECAUSE WE PRODUCED IT"

Stating that they respect the possibility of the song not being musically liked, Eyyüp Kadir İnan emphasized that the criticisms are political, not artistic. Claiming that the national values featured in the video disturb certain circles, İnan used the following expressions:

"Just because we produced it, just because you saw our glorious flag and domestic defense industry in the video, your lynching of this work; your going so far as to say 'I'm disgusted with the national team' is a complete summary of your intolerant and sick mentality!"

ACCUSATION OF "HYPOCRISY" WITH TARKAN EXAMPLE

Criticizing the opposition's attitude through famous artist Tarkan in his statement, İnan argued that the opposition applies double standards, saying, "If that friend named Tarkan were to come out today and make a song that curses us, secretly or openly, containing political messages, you would all shout in chorus, 'Art cannot be handcuffed!', 'There is freedom of expression!' wouldn't you?"

"YOU HAVE A CRISIS WHEN YOU SEE KAAN AND UAVs"

Stating that because the national team song emphasizes "Great Turkey," national unity, and full independence, some circles suddenly become "corporate neutrality guardians," the AK Party Secretary General claimed that the basis of the criticisms lies in a complex about the state's achievements. İnan concluded his words by saying, "As you cannot produce, you are a mob that has a crisis when seeing the soaring KAANs, UAVs, and SİHAs, and feels inferior about your own state's rise. Burst or explode as you may; you are all, we are Turkey!"
