Mustafa Demir, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party and Head of Local Governments, stated that the Şişli City Restaurant was closed because the CHP mayor of Şişli did not hold a tender while in office. Demir announced that the City Restaurant will be reopened soon.
Mustafa Demir, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party and Head of Local Governments, stated, "Şişli City Restaurant has been closed by the CHP itself. It will be reopened soon."
Deputy Chairman Demir made a statement regarding the City Restaurant, which was claimed to have been closed by the trustee appointed after the arrest of the CHP's Şişli Mayor, in a post on his social media account X.
"IT WAS CLOSED BY THE CHP"
Demir, who said, "We are watching the events in Şişli and the slanders and lies thrown around through this ongoing perception campaign with astonishment and attention," added, "The truth about the closed City Restaurant in Şişli is this: It was closed by the CHP itself because the CHP's Şişli Mayor did not hold a tender while in office on March 19, and therefore there was no material to prepare food."
"IT WILL BE REOPENED SOON"
Sharing the Şişli Municipality's statement on the matter, Demir said, "The source and reason for the problem is the incompetence of the CHP Municipality. As the AK Party, we do not wish for even the smallest service to our nation to be disrupted. The Şişli City Restaurant will be reopened soon. I wish you had spent the time and resources you used to create false perceptions and manipulate people to serve the nation instead."
