During the horrific earthquake that occurred in Myanmar, a father made an incredible leap between two collapsing skyscrapers to save his wife and daughter. South Korean Kwon Young Jun, while in Bangkok, demonstrated great courage by crossing a 600-foot-long broken sky bridge immediately after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake affected Thailand as well.

Kwon Young Jun was exercising on the 52nd floor of the luxury residential complex Park Origin Thonglor. When the earthquake suddenly began, Kwon immediately took action to move to the other building where his wife and daughter were, without panicking. Noticing the gap he saw, he crossed the space between the collapsing buildings.

Those moments were captured on camera by people below. As the skyscrapers shook violently, the father's fearless leap astonished onlookers.

Kwon's wife, 35-year-old beauty influencer Sukanya Yutuam, was in their home on the 30th floor. She described the fear she experienced during the earthquake: "It was a very dangerous situation. When I watched the video, like everyone else, I was in shock. My husband jumped, trusting his instincts. No one had the chance to think rationally."

Miraculously, Kwon emerged with only a few minor scratches and learned that his family had been safely evacuated after he crossed to the other building. He quickly exited the building and found them safe outside.

On Friday, the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar caused significant destruction in the country. So far, it has been reported that 2,886 people have lost their lives, 4,639 have been injured, and 373 are missing. However, it is noted that the actual death toll may be higher. The United Nations pointed out that the earthquake has further complicated the situation, combining with the deep crisis created by the war in Myanmar.

Although the epicenter of the earthquake was in Myanmar, severe aftershocks were also felt in Bangkok. A construction site skyscraper collapsed, leading to the deaths of at least 20 people and dozens missing.

The developers of Park Origin Thonglor stated that the buildings are structurally sound and that the sky bridge was designed to separate in extreme events, especially during earthquakes.
