I.Y., who obtained Aleyna Tilki's identity and personal information, threatened to disseminate the information to third parties by sending messages to her father and manager. As a result of the famous singer's complaint, one person was detained within the scope of the investigation initiated.
The new target of cyber attackers is pop singer Aleyna Tilki. İbrahim Y., who obtained Tilki's personal information such as identity information, personal data that can only be accessed by judicial authorities, home address, Turkish ID information, and population record, reached the famous singer's father and assistant.
THEY SENT A MESSAGE TO HER FATHER
İ.Y., who messaged Tilki's father on Instagram, shared the data that includes not only identity information but also identity volume number, family sequence number, school number, and branch, saying "Your daughter's important information has been hacked." Later, he sent the same information to the singer's assistant via email.
SHE APPLIED TO THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
Tilki, who was informed about the situation, applied to the prosecutor's office through her lawyer. In the petition stating that Tilki, who is known and appreciated by all of Turkey as an artist, had her personal data illegally obtained, it was stated that "Tilki and her family are being threatened with the disclosure of their information for the purpose of obtaining financial benefits by an organization believed to be organized."
INFORMATION WAS DISCLOSED
In the petition, it was stated that it was reported that the singer's information was disclosed from another Instagram account and that people who saw this reported it to the family, saying "Aleyna's information was shared in a video on a Youtube channel. In another Instagram account, the photo of Tilki and her information in the e-government were shared with the note 'disclosure' and sent to third parties."
SUSPECT DENIED
According to the news from Sabah newspaper by Arzu Kaya, İstanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation upon the complaint. It was determined that the account belonged to a person named İ.Y. The suspect claimed that the account belonged to him but was stolen. However, the prosecutor did not consider the suspect's denial defense. It was determined that he obtained the singer's personal data and sent it to her father and assistant. The prosecutor demanded a prison sentence of up to 4 years for the crime of "illegally obtaining or disseminating personal data."
