The Capital Markets Board (SPK) filed a criminal complaint against 16 individuals, including the famous magician Aref Ghafouri, for "market fraud" following its investigations into transactions involving European Investment Holding shares. CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AND TRADING BAN
In a statement from the CMB, the following was noted: "In a statement made by the Capital Markets Board (CMB), it was stated that 'In the shares of European Investment Holding AŞ (AVHOL), which were shared on various social media accounts and in transactions conducted in the AVHOL share market, individuals responsible for the act of information-based market fraud defined in Article 107/2 of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362, whose details are provided in the table below, have been decided to file a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in accordance with Article 115 of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 for the crime of 'Market Fraud' defined in Article 107/2 of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362.'
In the continuation of the statement, it was also mentioned regarding the same individuals that, 'In accordance with Article 101/3 of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362, based on determinations that the acts in Article 107/2 of the CMB were carried out, it has been decided to notify the Access Providers Association for the removal of the content and/or blocking of access regarding the publications made from the relevant social media accounts,' it was stated.
