Almeda Baylan, who was disqualified from Survivor 2025, broke her silence. Baylan stated that there was alcohol, not drugs, in her bag and drew attention by saying that Ayşe Yüksel, whom she accused of snitching on her, is "the biggest regret of my life."
One of the favorite contestants of Survivor 2025, Almeda Baylan, was disqualified from the competition last week for allegedly violating the competition rules. After the disqualification decision, Almeda broke her silence and shared all the details about the events for the first time. Her statements resonated widely in both the competition's backstage and on social media. Almeda, while maintaining her respect for Acun Medya, evaluated the process with the following words: "I respect the decision of Acun Medya and Mr. Acun. When you act against these rules, certain penalties are imposed. Of course, it was very painful for me."
EVERYTHING HAPPENED IN A PANIC
It turned out that the reason for disqualification was based on a controversial incident. Almeda emphasized that she experienced panic during the incident and said: "How can I hit five people? That's not possible. There might have been pushing. I can't lie, I kicked and closed the door. It was out of panic; I wouldn't have wanted that."
"I'M NOT THE ONLY GUILTY ONE"
Responding clearly to the allegations of "prohibited substances" mentioned in the backstage, Almeda used the following expressions: "There was definitely no drug substance. What was in the bag was alcohol." Stating that the alcohol did not belong solely to her, Almeda mentioned that similar incidents had occurred before, saying, "Not just that day, Ayşe, Yusuf, and others were constantly finding things before that, and they were drinking too. In fact, Ayşe and I had also taken some before and drank."
I HAVE TO SAY THESE THINGS
In her statements, Almeda particularly pointed out one name, expressing that her biggest regret in the competition was Ayşe Yüksel, saying, "My biggest regret in Survivor was Ayşe Yüksel. She smiled at my face and talked behind my back... There was only one person who snitched on us that day, and that was Ayşe." Almeda expressed her preference to narrate the events instead of remaining silent with the following words: "If I'm burning here now and leaving without selling you out, I'm sorry, but I have to say this."
