The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has prepared an indictment regarding the Dalton gang and the organized crime group led by Barış Boyun. It is noteworthy that a significant number of minors are included in the indictments related to two separate criminal organizations.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has prepared two separate indictments for two different criminal organizations. The prosecutor's office also provided information to the public regarding the indictments.
34 MINORS IN THE "DALTONS" INDICTMENT
In a statement from the prosecutor's office, it was noted that in the investigation conducted by the Child Crimes Investigation Bureau, it was determined that 34 individuals, 15 of whom are detained and 19 under judicial control, participated in 33 separate actions of the organized armed criminal organization known to the public as the "Daltons," led by Beratcan Gökdemir, who is currently detained in Russia.
The statement included the following: "The investigation has been completed regarding the crimes of 'membership in an armed organization established for the purpose of committing crimes,' 'intentional murder,' 'attempted intentional murder,' 'qualified robbery,' 'threat with a weapon,' 'damage to property,' 'violation of Law No. 6136,' 'illegally bringing, manufacturing, transporting, and selling firearms or ammunition into the country,' 'purchase, transportation, and possession of serious weapons or ammunition,' 'forgery in official documents,' 'deliberately endangering public safety,' and 'theft by being locked while left in a place accessible to everyone.' A public lawsuit has been filed with the Child Heavy Criminal Court, requesting prison sentences ranging from 20 months to 79 years for the minors."
INDICTMENT FOR THE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION LED BY BARIS BOYUN
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office also made a statement regarding the indictment prepared for the criminal organization led by Barış Boyun. The statement indicated that the number of minors in the indictment is 40.
The statement said, "It has been determined that 23 individuals, 16 of whom are under judicial control and 23 currently detained, participated in 32 separate actions of the organized armed criminal organization led by Barış Boyun, who is detained in Italy. The investigation has been completed regarding the crimes of 'armed organization established for the purpose of committing crimes, membership, attempted intentional murder, qualified robbery, threat with a weapon, damage to property, violation of Law No. 6136, destruction, concealment or alteration of evidence, illegally bringing, manufacturing, transporting, and selling firearms or ammunition into the country, purchase, transportation, and possession of close weapons or ammunition, forgery in official documents, and deliberately endangering public safety.' A public lawsuit has been filed with the Child Heavy Criminal Court, requesting prison sentences ranging from 20 years to 125 years for the minors," it stated.
