In the Serik district of Antalya, a group of 11 students, consisting of both girls and boys, kicked and punched a female student, dragging her by her hair. Some of the students recorded the violent moments that drew reactions on their mobile phones.
On November 30, 11 students gathered in the yard of an elementary school in the Central Neighborhood of Serik, where they threatened a female student and subsequently assaulted her. The family of the assaulted student, who reported the incident, filed a complaint with the police. The police investigation revealed that the moments of violence against the student were recorded by a mobile phone camera.
POLICE TOOK STATEMENTS FROM 11 STUDENTS
After examining the footage, the police took statements from the 11 students and then referred them to the courthouse. The children were released after their statements at the prosecutor's office. The Serik District National Education Directorate also initiated an investigation following the family's complaint.

The footage showing the moments when the student was assaulted included scenes of a group of male and female students threatening a female student, kicking and punching her, knocking her to the ground, and dragging her by her hair.
MALE STUDENTS INCITED THE FIGHT
The phone recording included a male student watching the fight while smoking, with some others saying phrases like 'Hit her well', 'Bash her head to the ground', 'Don't hold back, hit her'.
