With the announcement of the inflation rate for November, the salary increase for civil servants and retirees has largely become clear. The inflation rate for the past five months is 11.21%, and SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees have already secured this increase rate. The cumulative increase for civil servants and civil servant retirees has been calculated at 17.56%. The finalization of the increase rates is expected to depend on the inflation rate for December.

NOVEMBER INFLATION ANNOUNCED

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) published the inflation data for November. The monthly inflation was 0.87%, and the annual inflation was 31.07%. Following this data, the raise rate for civil servants and retirees in January began to take shape.

HOW ARE RAISE RATES DETERMINED?

  • SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive a raise based on the 6-month inflation rate for the second half of 2025.
  • Civil servants and civil servant retirees will experience a salary increase by adding the inflation difference to the 11% raise from the collective agreement.

5-MONTH INFLATION RATE: 11.21%

The monthly inflation rates announced since July are as follows:

  • July: 2.06%
  • August: 2.04%
  • September: 3.23%
  • October: 2.55%
  • November: 0.87%

With this data, the 5-month inflation rate became 11.21%.

SSK AND BAĞ-KUR RETIREES

SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees have already guaranteed at least an 11.21% raise based on the 5-month inflation.

LOWEST RETIREMENT SALARY

The lowest retirement salary, currently at 16,881 TL, will rise to 18,773 TL with the 11.21% increase.

CIVIL SERVANTS AND CIVIL SERVANT RETIREES

With the November data, the inflation difference for civil servants and civil servant retirees was 5.91%. Adding the 11% raise from the collective agreement, the cumulative raise rate increased to 17.56%.

FINAL DATA COMING IN DECEMBER
