The Key Party, which started its political life by submitting its application to the Ministry of Interior, drew attention with the similarity of its logo to the logo of the National Salvation Party founded by Necmettin Erbakan. KEY PARTY ESTABLISHEDThe application for the establishment of the Key Party (A Party), led by former spokesperson and Deputy Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who resigned from the Good Party, was submitted to the Ministry of Interior. The A Party began its political life with a promotional meeting held with wide participation. SIMILARITY WITH MSP'S LOGO DREW ATTENTIONThe party's logo also became "the key." The similarity of the A Party's logo to the National Salvation Party founded by Necmettin Erbakan in 1972 also drew attention. NATIONAL SALVATION PARTYThe National Salvation Party (abbreviated as MSP) was an Islamist political party that operated in Turkey between 1972 and 1981. It is the second party of the National Vision Movement. The Constitutional Court decided to close the National Order Party (MNP) on May 20, 1971, as it found it "contrary to the principles of preserving the nature of a secular state and Atatürk's revolutionary principles." After the closure of the MNP, Chairman Necmettin Erbakan first went to Germany and then to Switzerland. The cadres of the closed MNP established a party under the name of the National Salvation Party (MSP) on October 11, 1972. Süleyman Ârif Emre was appointed as the chairman of the party. None of the founders of the MNP were founders of the MSP. The party was organized in 42 provinces. Necmettin Erbakan, who was involved in the establishment activities of the MSP, officially joined this party in May 1973.
