In the US state of Missouri, a single-engine aircraft carrying skydivers crashed into a field shortly after takeoff. While attempting to return for unknown reasons, the plane burst into flames within seconds, tragically killing all 11 skydivers and the pilot.

THEY TOOK OFF TO SKYDIVE

According to a statement from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a plane crashed near Butler Memorial Airport, about 100 kilometers south of Kansas City.

The statement shared that the aircraft was carrying individuals intending to skydive and crashed into a field around 11:30 a.m. local time, becoming engulfed in flames.

The statement indicated that 12 people died in the accident and noted that investigations are ongoing.
