Amedspor Club President Elaldı: We requested support for infrastructure from CHP leader Özel.

During his visit to Diyarbakır last week, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stopped by the Amedspor club. Amedspor Club President Aziz Elaldı, who made evaluations regarding Özel's visit, stated, "We told him that we would establish a sports academy in Diyarbakır, and we requested his support for infrastructure assistance that would concern not only our city but the entire region."

Özgür Özel is trying to be with us continuously in this regard. Therefore, we thank them. We informed them that we wanted to receive support from the local governments of the CHP. We are a club with a very strong mobility capacity, such as a women's team, an inclusive basketball team, and infrastructure. We told Özgür Özel that we would establish a sports academy in Diyarbakır, and we asked for his support regarding infrastructure assistance that would concern not only our city but the entire region. He said they would meet with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. We will work together with our local governments through the Turkey Municipalities Union, which İmamoğlu presides over."

Elaldı, who stated that their projects include a large complex, noted that this complex would allow children in the region to engage in sports. Elaldı said, "Within this complex, a structure will be built that will significantly strengthen the infrastructure, involve all children in the region in sports, and train them in many branches. Additionally, a sports academy will be established, and we will create our own schools. We will create our own education system in this complex. After a certain period, the children who graduate from there will participate in many areas, such as being a congress member of Amedspor and being part of the club's management. We will have a meeting regarding this work with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu," he said.
