In the illegal betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined on May 27 that Papara played a critical role in the transfer of illegal betting and gambling revenues. Following this, according to a statement made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, a trustee from the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed to Papara by court order. Now, according to a notification made by Papara to its users, an examination of the accounts has been initiated.
