Anadolu Agency's 18Th War Journalism Program Begins On Aug. 9

24 journalists from Azerbaijan to attend 12 day program in Ankara.

The 18th War Journalism Training Program by Anadolu Agency, Turkey's premier news agency, will begin on Aug. 9 to educate international correspondents operate in conflict zones.

As many as 24 journalists from Azerbaijan will attend the program to be held in the Turkish capital of Ankara from Aug. 9-20.

A total of 327 journalists, including 118 foreign journalists, have so far attended the trainings organized under the supervision of the agency's News Academy in collaboration with the Turkish Police Academy, Turkish Armed Forces, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) – the state development aid agency – and Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) since 2012.

The 12-day training includes 108 hours of lessons, such as personal security, the law of war, first aid, advanced driving techniques, surviving in water, chemical and biological attacks. -
