The architect of "Evim Şahane", Selim Yuhay, tearfully recounted his unforgettable memory.

Mimar Selim Yuhay, known from the TV show "Evim Şahane", was a guest on Melis Yaşar's program at Haberler.com studio.

"OUR CANCER PATIENT CHILD COULDN'T SEE THE ROOM WE MADE"

Mimar Selim Yuhay, who shared an unforgettable memory, said, "We were trying to focus on children as much as possible and fulfill their dreams. We had a girl in Izmir who had a bone marrow transplant, and we settled her into her new home. Similarly, another child with cancer who had a bone marrow transplant came to us. He was a Galatasaray fan, and his father said to us, 'Let's make him a beautiful Galatasaray room.' So, we made a very nice Galatasaray room for him. We were going to deliver it the next day, but unfortunately, our director called us in the evening and said, 'Selim Bey, we were going to deliver the house tomorrow, but unfortunately, we lost the child, and the funeral will be held tomorrow.' At that moment, words were insufficient. When we went to the funeral, the father said, 'Selim Bey, don't be sad. He is watching us, and the first thing we did in the morning was to lay him in his bed in the beautiful Galatasaray room.' We have had many memories like this. It was not just a program we did; it was a way of life."
