Armed gang members attacked a village in Nigeria's Kaduna state. As random gunfire erupted, 30 people lost their lives and many were injured in the incident.
At least 30 people lost their lives in an armed attack in Nigeria's Kaduna state.
30 PEOPLE KILLED
According to reports in the national press, Dogon Rana, a notable from the Naridon village in the state, stated that armed gang members who arrived in the area opened fire. Rana reported that 30 people, including children and women, died in the attack and many others were injured.
Rana said that many houses were set on fire in the attack, and that the armed gang members robbed the local population after the incident.
Nigeria has recently been facing attacks from armed gangs as well as terrorist organizations Boko Haram and ISWAP, the West African branch of ISIS, in various parts of the country.
