The Serbian police officer was injured in the neck by the arrow. The injured police officer shot and killed the attacker. Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic stated that the police officer is in the hospital and conscious, and will undergo an operation to remove the arrow from his neck. Minister Dacic emphasized that an investigation has been launched into the attack and stated that the police officer fired his weapon in self-defense. It was learned that the embassy is closed today and there are no employees inside. The statement used the following words: "Today, an attempted terrorist attack was carried out at the Israeli embassy in Belgrade. A local police officer was injured.
