Following Israel's attack on Lebanon's capital Beirut, successive retaliation threats came from the Iranian front. While Iran leader Mojtaba Khamenei's Senior Advisor Ali Akbar Velayati said, "Zero hour has arrived, missile ramps are being prepared," Major General Ali Abdullahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the combat unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated, "The nation's sons in the armed forces have their fingers on the trigger, ready to fire into the heart of the enemy."

Major General Ali Abdullahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the combat unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made a statement following the Israeli army's attack on the Dahieh district of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

"THE NATION'S CHILDREN HAVE THEIR FINGERS ON THE TRIGGER, READY TO FIRE AT THE ENEMY'S HEART"

Abdullahi said, "Our ground, defense, missile, naval, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and air defense forces have become even stronger compared to the past. The nation's children in the Armed Forces have their fingers on the trigger, ready to fire at the enemy's heart."

Stating that revenge would be taken for Iran's former leader Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the Jerusalem and US-Israeli attacks, Abdullahi threatened that in case of a possible mistake, they would teach the "enemy" an unforgettable lesson.

"WE WILL GIVE A HARSH RESPONSE"

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, stated that they would give a "harsh" response to Israel's attack on the Dahieh district of Beirut. Azizi, expressing that the attack "proved the US is unreliable and weak," threatened to give a "harsh response" to the said attack.

"IF ISRAEL'S ATTACKS CONTINUE, NEGOTIATIONS COULD STOP"

Mohammad Bagher Kalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and Head of the Negotiating Team, reacted to the US by stating, "Israel's attack on southern Beirut shows that the US either lacks the will to fulfill its commitments or the capability to do so." Kalibaf, noting that the "bad cop, good cop" game is outdated, warned that the negotiation process could stall, saying, "If you lack the will and capacity to fulfill your commitments, it is not possible to talk about continuing the (negotiation) process."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Israel carried out an attack on Lebanon again during the days when an agreement to end the war between the US and Iran was being discussed. The Israeli army bombed the Dahieh district in southern Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, without prior warning despite the ceasefire. Two explosions were heard in the area, and smoke rose from the targeted points. According to Lebanon's official news agency NNA, 3 people lost their lives and 15 were injured in the attack targeting an apartment in the Ghobeiry neighborhood of Dahieh. Material damage occurred in surrounding buildings after the attack.

TRUMP'S REACTION TO ISRAEL: IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED

US President Donald Trump, in his first statement after Israel's said attack, reacted to the Tel Aviv administration. Trump, claiming that an opportunity for lasting peace in the region had arisen, emphasized that all parties should avoid steps that would increase tension.

"The attack on Beirut this morning should never have happened, especially on this particular day when we are so close to a peace agreement with Iran," Trump said, adding that the attack should not disrupt this important process. Trump stated, "We are very close to an agreement that will bring peace to the region, including Lebanon, and all parties must step back. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but also no more attacks against Israel by other parties, including Hezbollah. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace. Let's not ruin it."
