China’s Shanghai stock exchange struggled most, going down 2.41%

Major Asian stock markets closed Tuesday in the red as investors were worried about the global economic outlook and monetary policies.

The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, fell 25 points, or 0.76%, to 3,333.7 at 1013GMT.

Tokyo's Nikkei 225 stock exchange decreased 253.4 points, or 0.94%, to 26,748 at the day's close.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange, declined 358 points or 1.75%, to 20,112.

China's Shanghai stock exchange struggled the most, going down by 76 points or 2.41%, to 3,070.9

The Indian Sensex benchmark dropped 238 points, or 0.44%, to close at 54,050, while the Singapore index was down 18 points, or 0.58%, to 3,195. -
