"TRUMP WANTS TO REMOVE THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE FROM THE REGION"
Speaking about the USA's policy towards Palestine, Özcan stated that Trump wants to remove the Palestinian people from the region and does not see them as part of the global community. Emphasizing that Trump has distanced himself from the image of a peace-loving leader, Özcan said, "Trump's image as 'the leader who builds peace' has turned into the image of a 'real estate agent'."
"THE USA MAY WITHDRAW FROM THE UNITED NATIONS"
Referring to the USA's relations with the United Nations, Özcan noted that the likelihood of Washington withdrawing from the UN is increasingly growing. Stating that "the USA may soon withdraw from the United Nations," Özcan expressed that the country is pursuing a policy that isolates it in the international system.
"WE ARE SEEING DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE RACISM OF WORLD WAR II"
Pointing out that different forms of racism have re-emerged in global politics, Özcan said that some current policies resemble the racist ideologies of World War II. Özcan emphasized that the ceasefire process with Israel has been shelved, drawing attention to the fact that tensions in the region continue to escalate.
