At the tribal wedding held in Van, the bride was gifted 2 kilograms of gold, while the groom received 6.5 million TL.
Orhan Cintan, the brother of former Bostaniçi Mayor Halil Cintan and a prominent businessman from the Xelilan Tribe in Van, married Bahar Parlak, the daughter of businessman İdris Parlak. The wedding, attended by approximately 5,000 people from both domestic and international locations, became one of the most attended weddings in recent times, with the gifts given to the bride and groom leaving everyone astonished.
14 PEOPLE COUNTED THE MONEY
Leaders of the tribe, opinion leaders, mayors, political party representatives, civil society organizations, business people, and many guests attended the wedding, where 1 ton of meat was consumed. At the end of the approximately 5-hour-long gift ceremony, the groom received 6.5 million TL in tips, while the bride was adorned with 2 kilograms of gold, and 14 people counted the money placed on the table.
"9,000 PEOPLE WERE SERVED FOOD"
At the end of the wedding ceremony, the elder of the gathering, businessman Haşim İnan, thanked the participants and wished the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness, stating, "It was a very beautiful wedding. Participants came from various provinces of Turkey, as well as from Iran and Iraq. During our two-day wedding, food was served to approximately 9,000 people. I thank everyone who did not leave us alone on this happy day."
The groom's brother, Ünal Cintan, also thanked all the guests and wished the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness.
