After Ukraine's drone (UAV) attacks on Russia, operations at airports in the cities of Izhevsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Penza, Tambov, and Ulyanovsk were suspended.
Ukraine targeted Russia with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced that Russian air defense systems shot down a UAV heading towards the capital, Moscow.
UKRAINE ATTACKED, FLIGHTS CANCELLED IN 6 CITIES
In a statement by the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), it was reported that flights at airports in the cities of Izhevsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Penza, Tambov, and Ulyanovsk, located to the east and southeast of Moscow, were suspended due to concerns about airspace security.
Airport officials in St. Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city, also stated that dozens of flights were delayed.
"WE DESTROYED 32 UAVs"
In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was expressed that 32 UAVs were destroyed within a 3-hour period in various regions of the country.
