In the US state of Michigan, police arrived at a home in Missaukee County around 11:40 a.m. local time following a report. At the scene, 3 people were found dead and 1 person was found injured. The suspect, 39-year-old Chad Hickman, fled before police arrived, and police launched a large-scale search.
TWO MORE BODIES FOUND IN A WOODED AREA
During the search for the suspect, another person was found dead in a second home. Police found Hickman's vehicle in a wooded area near Whitlock Lake, and found Hickman along with another person's body. Police officer Ashley Miller said, "This is a heartbreaking situation for our region and a difficult one for those involved in the investigation."
Police did not release the names, ages, or genders of those who lost their lives, stating that the process of notifying their relatives is ongoing.
