The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, made a call ahead of the meeting that members of the DEM Party will have with the terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı. Bahçeli stated, "As a result of the meetings to be held with Imralı, the common future ideal, in which terrorism ends and the terrorist organization is dissolved, should be announced within the framework of love for humanity and the nation."
MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made statements at the 20th Term Certificate Ceremony of the Politics and Leadership School at the party's headquarters. Bahçeli called for a meeting to be held between the Imralı DEM Party members and the PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan.
BAHÇELİ: AFTER THE IMRALI MEETING, IT MUST BE ANNOUNCED THAT TERROR HAS ENDED Bahçeli stated, "Kurds are our brothers, the terrorist organization is our enemy. The DEM Party must take determined steps towards becoming a party of Turkey without being an instrument of the CHP's exploitation politics.
