The owner of ID Consulting, Ayşe Barım, who was arrested on charges of directing the Gezi Park protests, has been granted a release decision. Following an appeal by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the decision, a new arrest warrant was issued for Barım before she could be released from prison.
A new development has occurred in the investigation following the arrest of Ayşe Barım, the owner of a company called ID Consultancy, which manages many famous names, who was accused of being one of the organizers of the Gezi Park protests.

A release decision was made today regarding Ayşe Barım, who was arrested on charges of directing the Gezi protests. After the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision, a new arrest warrant was issued for Barım before she could leave prison.
AN INVESTIGATION WAS LAUNCHED DUE TO MONOPOLIZATION ALLEGATIONS
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation ex officio, considering the allegations against manager Ayşe Barım that appeared on social media platforms and in news reports. Ayşe Barım, who is the founder and partner of ID Consultancy Limited Company and manages many famous names, has been in the spotlight due to allegations that she has led to monopolization in the industry and has distanced actors who oppose her from the sector.
As part of the investigation, a travel ban was imposed on Ayşe Barım, while Serenay Sarıkaya, whom she manages, testified as a 'witness', after which Barım was detained.
ARRESTED DUE TO GEZI PROTESTS
After her detention, Barım was released under judicial control. Ayşe Barım was later detained on the allegation that she directed artists during the Gezi Park events and was in contact with figures like Osman Kavala, and was arrested on charges of "aiding in an attempt to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey or prevent it from performing its duties."
