Due to the two effective remorse statements Aktaş gave to be released from prison, the mayors of Gaziosmanpaşa, Avcılar, Ceyhan, and Seyhan, as well as the Deputy Secretary General of İBB and the General Manager of İsfalt, were taken into custody and arrested.
In his statement, Aktaş claimed that he gave money to the mayors of the municipalities from which he received tenders and that he was forced to provide vehicles for the candidates' election campaigns in the 2024 local elections.
