Beşiktaş announced that Emirhan Topçu, who had to leave the game due to an injury during the match against Kasımpaşa, has been diagnosed with a strain and swelling in his upper thigh muscle. Emirhan will not be able to play in the home match against RAMS Başakşehir in the 31st week of the league.
Beşiktaş made a statement regarding the current situation of their center-back Emirhan Topçu, who was injured at the beginning of the match against Kasımpaşa.
THERE IS STRAIN AND EDEMA IN HIS UPPER THIGH
Beşiktaş's statement is as follows;
"In the 17th minute of the match played by our Football A Team in the Trendyol Super League against Kasımpaşa, our player Emirhan Topçu felt pain in the upper thigh area and could not continue the game. In the evaluation and MRI imaging conducted at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, strain and edema were detected in the upper thigh muscle (rectus femoris). Treatment for Emirhan Topçu has been initiated by our medical team."
HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE RAMS BAŞAKŞEHİR MATCH
Emirhan Topçu, who is one of the indispensable names in defense for the black-and-white team this season, will not be able to play in the RAMS Başakşehir match, which will be held on Saturday, April 12, at 19:00 at Tüpraş Stadium, during the 31st week of the Trendyol Super League. Another center-back, Tayyip Talha Sanuç, who replaced Emirhan in the Kasımpaşa match, also received a red card.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Emirhan Topçu, who started in the starting 11 for Beşiktaş in the Kasımpaşa match, was injured in the 9th minute. After his treatment, Emirhan continued to play for a while and tried to test himself, but then he fell to the ground again in the 15th minute and left the game. Tayyip Talha Sanuç came on for the 24-year-old center-back in the 17th minute. After leaving the game, Emirhan went directly to the dressing room.
