The court decided to continue the $10,000 payment after evaluating Yılmaz's financial situation, which led to a reaction from the comedian.

The famous comedian filed a lawsuit in 2022 to reduce the alimony for his ex-wife. Yağtu objected to Yılmaz's move by stating that the expenses for the child's education and development have increased. According to the news on Habertürk, the decision of the local court, which stated that "Cem Yılmaz will pay 70,000 lira per month," was reviewed once again by the 38th Civil Chamber of the Regional Court of Justice. The court, convinced that $10,000 is not above Yılmaz's financial situation and that he has the ability to pay, did not make any changes to the amount.

Cem Yılmaz, who will continue to pay a monthly alimony of 322,000 TL after the decision, used the following expressions in his post on X account: "Yes, all the news and comments are right. I am stingy and I don't take care of my child. This is a well-known fact, and of course, I raised my son all by myself. Have fun... A little note: I got divorced 11 years ago (a first in the world)."
