In the vote, 10 countries, including the United States and Israel, voted "no," while 142 countries voted "yes" in favor of the decision endorsing the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Resolution of the Palestinian Issue and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
In the vote, 12 countries abstained.
WHAT IS THE NEW YORK DECLARATION?
The New York Declaration on the Peaceful Resolution of the Palestinian Issue and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, presented by France and Saudi Arabia, aims to recognize a Palestinian State that does not include Hamas and to peacefully end the Israel-Palestine conflict.
