It was stated that if Galatasaray eliminates Liverpool and advances to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, it will earn an additional 12.5 million euros from UEFA. This success will significantly increase the yellow-red club's European revenue.
ALREADY 53.5 MILLION EUROS GUARANTEED
Galatasaray has generated significant revenue from the results it achieved in the Champions League. The yellow-reds earned 18.62 million euros as a participation fee for the tournament.
Thanks to 3 victories and 1 draw in the league stage, Galatasaray earned 7 million euros as performance bonuses, and an additional 5.08 million euros according to the league ranking. The yellow-red team generated 8.41 million euros from the broadcasting pool and received 2.42 million euros from the UEFA coefficient revenue.
