Bahçeli: It is time for Turkey to act with caution and prudence.

The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, published a holiday message emphasizing the importance of the process. Bahçeli stated, "While regional and global balances are being disrupted and visibility is obscured by the dark clouds of conflict, Turkey's ability to strengthen its internal front at the right time, with the right steps, and through the right policies and strategies is the peaceful flavor of a historic move resembling a holiday. It is time for Turkey to act with caution and prudence."

Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, in his message published on the occasion of Ramadan Feast, called for peace, tranquility, and brotherhood.

"The prevailing unrest, hopelessness, and instability around the world are creating massive rifts in humanity's fundamental and universal rights. The dark shadow of weapons and the heavy body of wars and conflicts have fallen upon the oppressed geographies and the unfortunate people living there," emphasized Bahçeli, who used the following expressions in his message:

"A WAR THAT WILL INCLUDE THE GULF COUNTRIES IS BEING RAPIDLY BUILT"

"The current world picture, which is constantly writhing in the grip of a deep meaning and moral crisis and rolling down to an extraordinary fragility, is at the very heart of humanitarian and moral bankruptcy, no matter how we look at it. Since February 28, 2026, new generation missiles and highly destructive bombs have been raining down from the top of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Before the wounds of the Gaza genocide are healed, and before a dense reckoning page is opened in this way, the most severe examples of war and crimes against humanity are being experienced and inflicted day by day right next to Turkey, on the other side of our borders. Every day of the blessed Ramadan we left behind, the Islamic world is openly exposed to the heavy consequences of Zionist-imperialist oppression based on force and tyranny. Unfortunately, the mechanisms for a widespread and intense war that will include the Gulf countries are being rapidly constructed.

"DEVELOPMENTS ARE GETTING WORSE"

The closure of our first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, to worship due to the unilateral imposition of the terrorist state of Israel has caused outrage in the Muslim conscience, and in this context, religious rights and freedoms have been attacked from all fronts. Global justice, global conscience, and the values of international humanitarian law have fallen silent, while Evangelist/Kabbalah fanatics, who cling to apocalyptic scenarios with theological delusions, have particularly ensnared the Islamic geography in bloody operations under flimsy pretexts. Developments in neighboring countries are getting much worse.

The incessant targeted assassinations of the religious leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, high-ranking political and state officials, and the systematic aggressions that kill civilians and innocent people are clear indicators that violence and brutality have been set free, and that the laws of war have been sidelined.

While there is an opportunity to expand relations and agreements through the language of peace, being a fanatic of war and weapons, and seeking legitimacy for destruction with blatant lies, intentional falsehoods, and hardened prejudices is, at the very least, shamelessness. The geopolitical earthquakes and escalating military and political tensions are not limited to a specific geography but are simultaneously regionalizing and globalizing, posing a significant risk of catastrophe.

CEASEFIRE AND PEACE REQUESTED IN THE IRAN WAR

It is in everyone's common interest and benefit to stop this potential disaster led by Israel before it spreads to various regions of the world, and to gradually take steps towards a ceasefire and peace. However, time is running out, and the front line is effectively expanding. My sincere wish is that the holiday days we encounter at the end of Ramadan serve as an opportunity for peace, reconciliation, and at least for solving problems through diplomacy and dialogue, especially for Islamic countries and all of humanity.

Turkey is celebrating the holiday from seven to seventy, from young to old, from small to large, and moreover, from east to west, and from north to south, uniting with historical feelings of peace and brotherhood.

Indeed, the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey" is the holiday of the Turkish nation and the peace season that has no winter in the new century.

"IT IS TIME FOR TURKEY TO ACT WITH CAUTION AND MEASURE"

While regional and global balances are being disrupted, and visibility is obscured by the dark clouds of conflict, it is a historic move to strengthen Turkey's internal front with the right steps, at the right time, with the right policies and strategies, which is the peaceful flavor of the holiday.

It is time for Turkey to act with caution and measure. It is time to celebrate in peace and tranquility, to be one heart and together as Turkey. My wish is for wars and conflicts to end as soon as possible.

It is my sincere wish that the holiday, which is both the council and the feast of spirituality, love, and respect, becomes a precious opportunity to close the opened chasms, soften hardened relations, and reunite estranged hearts. With these feelings and thoughts, I pray to Allah for the dark veil surrounding the Islamic world to be torn away, and for the suffering and cries of our oppressed compatriots and religious brothers to come to an end.

I congratulate our esteemed citizens living both domestically and abroad on the occasion of Ramadan Feast, and I express that we are both prayerful and advocates for them to reach the levels of development they deserve and the peaks they are worthy of.

I greet every brother who feels the concern for the homeland in their heart, who lives the love of the nation in their soul, who feels the warmth of the red flag in their spirit, who carries the love of our Turkey in their consciousness, and who harbors the aspirations for national unity, social integrity, eternal brotherhood, and lasting solidarity in their goals, with the best of greetings. I say, may our Ramadan Feast be blessed."
