MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli made a striking assessment regarding rumors that Kurdish groups would be armed in Iran. Bahçeli stated, "They are sniffing the air to deploy our Kurdish brothers. In this way, no entity planning to collapse Iran from within should have the Kurds act as mercenaries. Kurds are not hitmen. My Kurdish brothers are not for sale." Bahçeli's words were met with a standing ovation from the party group.
In a statement during the group meeting of his party, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli dedicated a large part of his speech to the war initiated by the USA and Israel's attack on Iran.
"KURDISH BROTHERS ARE NOT FOR SALE"
Referring to the discussions about arming Kurdish groups against Iran, Bahçeli stated, "They are sniffing the air to send our Kurdish brothers to the field. Therefore, no entity planning to collapse Iran from within should use Kurds as mercenaries. Kurds are not trigger men. My Kurdish brothers are not for sale. They cannot be shown as a lottery in someone else's projects."
"EVERY COUNTRY MUST USE COMMON SENSE"
Continuing his remarks, Bahçeli addressed the missiles recently shot down within Turkey's borders, saying, "Every country must use common sense. Turkey is not a country to gamble with. We want to believe that there is no deliberate attitude. The country that will clarify whether there is harassment and provocation is the Islamic Republic of Iran. Of course, we do not neglect or overlook the Zionist imperialist cadre trying to pit Turkey against Iran."
