MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın announced on his social media account that a disciplinary process has been initiated regarding Aksaray Deputy Ramazan Kaşlı. Yalçın stated that the decision was made directly upon the instruction of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.

In a statement on his social media account, Kaşlı indicated that he left upon the request of Semih Yalçın, the Deputy Chairman responsible for Organizational Affairs, from the MHP Group Management Board and party membership. In his post, Kaşlı stated, "I am resigning from the TBMM MHP Group Management Board and my party membership. A necessary explanation will be made to the public shortly. I want it to be known that I will be with our Leader until death, following his path and orders."
