Beşiktaş introduced its special logo that will be used for two weeks as part of the 123rd anniversary celebrations.
SPECIAL LOGO FOR THE 123RD ANNIVERSARY FROM BEŞIKTAŞ
The General Secretary of the black-and-white team, Uğur Fora, made statements regarding the club's 123rd anniversary events, stating that the new special logo will be used during the two-week period between the anniversary on March 3 and the World Beşiktaş Day on March 19.
Here are Uğur Fora's statements:
"We will carry out various events between our anniversary on March 3 and the World Beşiktaş Day on March 19. As the first step of the 123rd anniversary celebrations, we designed a very special logo. We adorned every corner of our neighborhood with both our glorious emblem and our 123rd anniversary logo."
"March is a very important and meaningful month for us Beşiktaş fans. March 3 is the anniversary of our Beşiktaş, which was born as a neighborhood club and became a world club, and March 19 is the World Beşiktaş Day.
During the two-week period between our anniversary on March 3 and the World Beşiktaş Day on March 19, we will carry out a series of events. As the first task of the 123rd anniversary celebrations, we designed a very stylish logo. We decorated every point of our neighborhood with our glorious emblem and our 123rd anniversary logo.
As part of the anniversary events, we will host disadvantaged children and students studying in schools in the Beşiktaş district during the match we will play against Çaykur Rizespor in the Ziraat Turkey Cup.
On our anniversary, March 3, we will hold a grand ceremony and organize an iftar program. We will make these meaningful days even more significant with a book donation campaign that we will carry out.
As part of our anniversary, we will commemorate our founders and Zübeyde Hanım, the mother of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who was entrusted to the Beşiktaş community while going to Samsun, at their graves.
On this occasion, I respectfully remember our founders, especially our former presidents, former board members, and former athletes who are no longer with us.'
