Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan evaluated the developments in the region and the security situation during a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi.

According to information obtained from senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed the latest developments in the region and the security situation. The parties exchanged views on the current situation.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continued between the governments of Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials were killed, including Iranian leader Ali Hamaney.
The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 201 people lost their lives and 747 were injured in the bombings targeting the country.
