Images have been shared showing moments when Trump monitored the Iran operation from the crisis center at Mar-a-Lago. The operational map behind Trump drew attention, indicating that U.S. bases in Gulf countries were marked in the planning. The absence of the Incirlik and Kürecik bases in Turkey on the map was interpreted as these bases not being used during the operation process.
Images shared from the situation room set up at President Donald Trump's estate Mar-a-Lago in Florida drew attention. The map on the crisis table created in the first hours of the attacks on Iran provided important clues about military planning.
During the meeting, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stood by Trump. Vice President J.D. Vance and U.S. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard participated in the discussion remotely.
THERE IS NO TURKEY ON THE MAP
The photos shared showed that Iran and Gulf countries were marked in detail on the map seen behind Trump. The U.S. bases in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, as well as the possible attack directions of the planes that would take off from these bases, were clearly indicated. The absence of the Incirlik and Kürecik bases in Turkey on the map drew attention.
This situation was interpreted as the U.S. not anticipating an attack from Turkey in its operational planning against Iran. Trump did not make any statements regarding Turkey's possible role.
