Beşiktaş's star may miss the Galatasaray derby.

Beşiktaş made a statement regarding the health status of Gabriel Paulista, who had to leave the game due to an injury during the match played away against Gaziantep FK in the 8th week of the Trendyol Super League.

INJURED HIS LEFT HAMSTRING

The statement made by the Black-Whites club included the following expressions;

"In the match played by our Football A Team against Gaziantep Football Club, our player Gabriel Paulista, who felt pain in his left thigh hamstring, was found to have a strain and partial tear in the upper back hamstring (biceps femoris) of his left thigh, as determined by the evaluation and MRI imaging conducted at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital.

Treatment for Gabriel Paulista has been initiated by our medical team."

WHEN WILL HE RETURN?

Gabriel Paulista is expected to be out of action for 2-3 weeks. The 33-year-old experienced center-back has a chance to be fit for the derby against Galatasaray. Beşiktaş will visit their eternal rival on October 28, Monday, in the 10th week of the Trendyol Super League.
