The PFDK announced the penalties imposed on 281 out of 1024 football players as part of the betting investigation. In a statement from the TFF, it was announced that the disciplinary board imposed a ban of 45 days to 12 months on 281 out of 282 football players who were referred for betting activities.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) announced the penalties imposed on 282 out of 1024 football players as part of a betting investigation.
281 PLAYERS PUNISHED
In a statement from TFF, it was announced that the discipline board imposed penalties ranging from 45 days to 12 months of deprivation of rights on 281 out of 282 football players who were referred for playing bets.
It was stated that Canberk Aydemir, one of the players referred to the board, had already been penalized for betting activities, and therefore, there was no need for further punishment. PFDK had previously announced that Canberk Aydemir was given a 1-year deprivation of rights penalty on September 2, 2025.
The statement regarding the matter said;
"In the meeting dated November 18, 2025, and numbered 28, of the Professional Football Discipline Board, the decisions taken regarding the 2nd League athletes referred to our Board in accordance with Article 57 of the FDT are as follows.
1- BURAK BİLGEN was punished with a 45-DAY DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities and by applying Article 13 of the FDT.
2- HASAN ÇELİK was punished with a 9-MONTH DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities.
