U.S. President Joe Biden announced that a one-time aid of $770 per household will be provided to the residents of Los Angeles, which has been devastated by fire. Biden, who has paid hundreds of billions of dollars to Israel for the massacre in Gaza, faced backlash for this decision.

US President Biden, who is preparing to hand over his duties to Trump in a few days, announced that additional aid would be provided to California for the wildfires.

According to a written statement from the White House, Biden approved additional disaster assistance for the state of California for emergency response efforts. The aid includes federal funds provided for activities such as debris removal and emergency measures, including direct federal support. The additional aid will also reflect an increase in the amount of assistance planned for a duration of 6 months.

"RESTORING LOS ANGELES WILL COST BILLIONS OF DOLLARS"

According to reports from local sources, during a meeting with emergency officials, Biden stated, "Although the federal government will cover all expenses such as overtime pay for firefighters, debris removal, and temporary shelters over the next 180 days, restoring Los Angeles will cost billions of dollars."

Biden expressed that Congress needs to take steps to provide funding to help those affected by the wildfires.

Noting that the fire in Pacific Palisades is 14% contained, the fire in Pasadena is 33% contained, the fire in Sylmar is 95% contained, and the fire in Ventura is 100% contained, Biden said, "This is progress."

In Washington, D.C., protesters supporting Palestine gathered in front of the State Department building to protest President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Before Biden's speech, in which he commented on his foreign policy during his four-year presidency, accompanied by Blinken, the protesters shouted slogans such as "How many children did you kill today?" and "We do not want our tax dollars to be used for the massacre of Palestinians."

"STOP ARMING ISRAEL WITH MY TAXES"
