In Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, a dispute occurred between 63-year-old taxi driver Ferhan Dürçek and his 44-year-old wife Hanna Dürçek, who worked as a translator. During this time, Ferhan Dürçek shot his wife with a gun that was in the house and then committed suicide. It was reported that Ferhan Dürçek's daughter and brother were sitting on the balcony at the time of the incident.
There was a dispute between taxi driver Ferhan Dürçek and his Ukrainian wife Hanna Dürçek, who was acting as a translator. After the argument, Ferhan Dürçek shot his wife with a gun found in the house, and then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

While the argument was taking place, Ferhan Dürçek's daughter Leyla Dürçek (25) and his sister Gülcan Dürçek (60), who were sitting on the balcony, entered the house upon hearing the gunshots. After they reported the situation, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived at the address determined that Ferhan and Hanna Dürçek had lost their lives.
ALLEGATION OF DISPUTE DUE TO DEBTS
The police conducted an investigation at the house where the Dürçek couple lost their lives. It was determined that Hanna Dürçek was hit by 3 bullets, while Ferhan Dürçek's daughter Leyla Dürçek and sister Gülcan Dürçek, who were sitting on the balcony during the incident, were taken to the police station for questioning. It was learned that the couple had previously argued multiple times due to Ferhan Dürçek's debts. The lifeless bodies of the couple were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the police investigation. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
