The president of Bodrum Football Club, Aşkın Demir, announced that he will step down from his position due to health issues. In his statement, Demir expressed that he will hand over the club in a financially sound manner, free of external debts, and with its financial and administrative matters cleared.

AŞKIN DEMİR IS STEPPING DOWN

In a statement made on the social media account of the club's U.S.-based X company, Demir indicated that he would be stepping down from his role as chairman of the board at Bodrum Football Club, of which he is proud to be a shareholder. Noting that he would not run for re-election as chairman of the board at the extraordinary general assembly planned for January 2026 at Bodrumspor Sportif Faaliyetleri AŞ, Demir expressed that he would hand over the club in a financially sound manner, free of external debts, and with financial and administrative accountability.
